As a veteran who served in the military, I had to be familiar with weapons. I learned that we’re to hold our weapons at the ready. Be at the ready means - being prepared or poised for immediate action; be prepared to be used or act immediately.

This inspired “Be At The Ready”, a constant reminder to be ready for whatever, whenever. You never know what awaits you, always be prepared to act at a moments’ time.
